Financial Accountabilty

Tax Deductible Donations

Soul Shepherding is a Section 501(c)(3) organization. All gifts to Soul Shepherding are deductible as charitable contributions for federal and state income tax purposes. As required by law, gifts are solicited with the understanding that Soul Sheperding has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds.

Board Oversight

Soul Shepherding is led by a majority-independent Board of Directors who work closely with Bill & Kristi Gaultiere to provide financial oversight, strategic counsel, and prayer. It was established as a 501c3 nonprofit organization in CA on July 31, 2009.

Founders Bill & Kristi Gaultiere sit on the Board with John & Margaret Snyder (entrepreneur and recovery sponsor; Franklin, TN), Steve & Joan Graham (attorney and spiritual director; Coto de Caza, CA), Lance Wood (CPA, Area Director with National Christian Foundation; Irvine, CA), Steve & Jayne Watts (entrepreneur and church leader; Ladera Ranch, CA).

Bookkeeping

Independent accounting services and financial statements are provided each month by Christian Resource Management (CRM).  Since 1973, CRM has provided accounting and donor management to many non-profit organizations.  Additionally, annual reports are provided independently by MPK Advisors, an accounting firm specializing in Nonprofit organizations and Churches.
