Living in a broken world we so often have a distorted view of God our Father, but Jesus demonstrates that our Abba Father delights in us. What a beautiful gift! God the Father sees you and delights in you as a precious daughter or son! Let’s join Bill and Kristi and receive the love of Abba with open hearts. In the craziness of this season, we often find ourselves hurried and stressed. When we are overwhelmed, it becomes difficult to take care of ourselves and love those around us. Jesus was never in a hurry! In this episode, Bill and Kristi remind us that Jesus is inviting us to rest with him. Take a moment to slow down and rest in Abba’s presence, as Bill leads us through a meditation to remember Jesus’s “easy yoke”.
Jesus accepted his personal limits and this helped him enjoy life and be loving. In John 7 we see an example of our Lord setting a boundary on a holiday. We discuss this and other Biblical examples of how “less is more” — for Advent and for daily life. Saying no helps you say yes when it’s most important!
