Jim has been involved with Soul Shepherding since 2018, when he first enrolled in one of the Institute retreats. He completed his training to become a certified Spiritual Director with Soul Shepherding and now serves as a Sr. Spiritual Director and Sr. Coach. He and his wife Lindsay also assist Bill and Kristi Gaultiere with the Institute retreats on the east coast. They have also led Journey of the Soul Workshops for church staff and small group leaders, virtually and in person. 

Outside of Soul Shepherding, Jim is a lay leader in his local International Churches of Christ congregation in Marietta, Georgia. He works as an SAP consultant in the Enterprise Resource Planning field as an instructional designer and training consultant.

Jim also has extensive experience working in recovery ministry within the church. Having been in recovery from alcohol and drugs for over 30 years, he has led recovery groups and been a 12-step sponsor to many throughout his recovery. 

Jim and his wife Lindsay live in Kennesaw, Georgia, and have three adult children and a Bernese Mountain dog named Henri.
