Carolyn serves on the staff of Soul Shepherding as Data and Content Manager and as a Spiritual Director. She is a long-time women’s ministry leader and youth leader.

Carolyn completed the Soul Shepherding Certificates in Spiritual Direction and Coaching and is a CiRCE Certified Classical Teacher.

After growing up as a pastor’s kid and missionary kid living for several years overseas, Carolyn understands some of the unique challenges ministry families face. Her journey toward healing from childhood wounds and church conflict has given her a passion for helping others experience the love of Abba and his great delight in us.

Spiritual direction has been transformative for growing in emotional honesty, self-awareness, and living out of our secure identity in Christ rather than people pleasing and performance. She lives with her pastor husband and three homeschooled teenagers in beautiful central Maine. An avid cat lover, she loves laughing, teaching, reading, playing games, and deep conversations with friends over coffee.
