Brian serves as a Sr. Spiritual Director with Soul Shepherding.  He was an ordained pastor at a large church in the Pacific Northwest from 2012-2023.  And is now the director of discipleship at a private Christian high school.  A passion to help people thrive in kingdom living led Brian to become a best-selling author with “The Kingdom Field Guide” book.  Prior to vocational ministry, he was an owner and corporate executive for a geology consulting firm.

Brian has completed the Soul Shepherding Institute and Spiritual Direction certificate training.

A sabbatical retreat first connected Brian to Soul Shepherding in 2020.  Through Bill and Kristi Gaultiere’s leadership and training he experienced significant healing from spiritual abuse, church wounds, and insecure attachment.

Brian’s life experience and spiritual journey will benefit people looking to address church wounds, work-life balance, rhythms of rest, kingdom living, and desiring a flourishing life of faith in ministry or business settings.  He loves creating safe, empathetic spaces in Spiritual Direction where people grow in their personal connection to Jesus and experience healing and wholeness in their souls.

Brian and his wife Katie live in Ferndale, WA near the North Cascade mountains.  They love backpacking with their dog Banner.  They also delight in their granddaughter.
