Wendy serves with Soul Shepherding as a Spiritual Director and a facilitator for Soul Shepherding’s, Group Spiritual Direction. Her current role at her church is to train, build, and lead ministry through prayer.
Wendy discovered the Soul Shepherding network while looking for resources for prayer and spiritual development.
After years of following the institute, she had the opportunity to attend retreats and spiritual direction sessions finding helpful resources for her inner journey. Wendy completed the spiritual direction certification adding this to her previous training.
Wendy previously worked in early childhood development which sparked her interest in spiritual formation. Her desire grew leading her to pursue additional education in pastoral care, coaching, and prayer. Wendy has been a leader of the church for over 30 years, encouraging, developing, and training upcoming leaders as well as walking with people in prayer and care. Her deepest desire is to create a safe space for people of all stages and phases to pay attention to the presence of God while living out their faith in everyday life situations.
Wendy and her husband live in Orange County, California with their bernedoodle, Winnie. They have 3 grown daughters, three son-in-laws, and a growing number of grandkids! All three of her children with their spouses are shepherding and cultivating life in their local churches.
She values time with family and friends in intimate settings. For recreation, she enjoys being outdoors, exploring, or gardening!
