June Johnson serves with Soul Shepherding as a Spiritual Director. She and her husband Jamie completed the Soul Shepherding Institute and Certificate in Spiritual Direction Training program. 

June is a business and government leader with lengthy experience mentoring and developing leaders. She has been a government leader for decades, managing a large federal workforce. She also has been serving in various ministries for more than 40 years. 

Currently a member of The Falls Church Anglican (ACNA-affiliated) in Virginia, June serves as a prayer minister, Bible teacher, and small group leader, among other ministries. 

June discovered Soul Shepherding retreats and their Spiritual Direction program while at the Wall, struggling in solitude and silence with the Lord amid a life-threatening illness. During the program’s spiritual direction sessions, Holy Spirit brought His balm to the broken parts of her soul, providing inner healing of traumatic memories through His great love, mercy, and grace. With deep gratitude, she now partners with Holy Spirit to hold similarly sacred spaces for others—helping them receive the Lord’s renewal, accept His inner healing, and learn to listen and grow in deeper connection with Him. 

June and Jamie live in Arlington, VA, have two grown children, and a large white shepherd.
