Family Matters: The Golden Rule of Empathy
We all need empathy — especially as little children. Empathy is the heart of Jesus’ “Golden Rule” (Matthew 7:12). It’s the key to “secure attachment” (safe, loving, stable relationships). It helps us to resolve conflicts, shift from distress to joy, and to thrive in all areas of life.
