Soul Shepherding Institute
We (Bill and Kristi) invite you to join us as an apprentice to Jesus in spiritual formation and soul care ministry. Our five day retreats feature our distinctive approach to Biblical spirituality and psychology in teaching, guided experiences of Scripture meditation and prayer, soul care groups, and spiritual direction.
We coach you in an authentic community of about twenty pastors and other men and women in ministry (individuals and ministry couples). You’ll enjoy the beauty of Southern California and time to rest, hear God’s voice, and be renewed. Also you can earn a certificate in Spiritual Direction.

Speaking
We speak together or separately to staff teams or large gatherings in churches and conferences. Our talks are personable, insightful, inspirational, and practical. Sabbaticals
Over 17,000 pastors and leaders have used our “Sabbatical Guide For Pastors.” We provide personalized coaching to help you develop a Sabbatical that rejuvenates you personally and empowers you for fruitful ministry. This includes making a Sabbatical plan, getting it approved by your elder board, communicating it to your church, and implementing it.
Soul Shepherding Coaching
Pastors and other men and women in ministry who aren’t being personally mentored are in danger of burning out, failing in their leadership, or slipping into a moral problem.
Soul Shepherding coaching and spiritual direction helps you thrive with Jesus in your life and leadership. We have been caring for ministry leaders since 1986. We can meet with you in our office in Irvine (Southern CA), by phone/Skype, at a coffee shop, on a walking trail, or at a retreat center.
We (Bill and Kristi) offer psychotherapy or spiritual mentoring to a small number of pastors and leaders. Also, we have trained a number of Soul Shepherding Associates who are available to offer spiritual mentoring and pastoral care.
