At his cross on Calvary Hill the Lord Jesus shows you that you are unforsaken — totally loved forever — by him and his Father. We believe this is the theme of Lent, but sadly we may lost touch with this.
At this retreat we’ll help you explore and experience the passion-love of Christ in Scripture meditation and prayer and then we’ll guide you in two plus hours of “TLC Time.” (TLC stands for “To Love Christ”!) Then we’ll wrap up in community prayer.
As an optional guide for your TLC Time you can purchase Unforsaken: With Jesus on the Stations of the Cross by Bill Gaultiere, a new booklet that brings you up close and personal with Jesus as he carries his cross. (This can also be used for small groups.)
This half-day retreat is for pastors and other servant-leaders (men and women). It will be held in our home. Space is limited to about twenty people.
