Sophia serves with Soul Shepherding as a Spiritual Director. She is a mom of three boys, a Piano Teacher, a Prayer Team Lead, and a volunteer Director of City Unity and Prayer for a local non-profit.

She was introduced to Soul Shepherding’s podcast on the topic of empathy, which stirred a deep longing to learn more. Through the Institute trainings, she experienced deeper healing in understanding that God is more compassionate to our messes and is more present in the peaks and valleys than she realized. She considers sitting at the feet of Jesus with another as one of the most meaningful expressions of being under the shadow of God’s wings. She is passionate about creating a safe space to be real and honest, and to lean into the Holy Spirit’s guidance to our Father’s heart through Jesus.

She is originally from South Korea and currently resides in Southern California.
