Rob serves with Soul Shepherding as a Spiritual Director and Coach. He is the Pastor of Spiritual Growth and Development at Saddleback Church.

He has an M.A. degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University. Also he has been certified as a StratOp facilitator for churches, and has completed the Soul Shepherding Institute and Spiritual Direction training to be certified as a Spiritual Director and Coach.

In Rob’s role at Saddleback Church, he splits his time between leading the Spiritual Growth Team and helping other teams with strategy development, coaching and developing leaders, and soul care for the staff. In ten years of pastoring at a megachurch he has experienced the ups and downs of church ministry.

Rob has a heart to offer empathy and insight to ministry leaders. He is a question asker, clarity creator, coach, strategy conceptualizer, consultant, confidant, collaborator, and giver of soul care. He seeks to help leaders and teams explore, discover, learn, and develop into all that God created them to be.

He lives with his wife and son in Lake Forest, CA.
