The Sweet Song of Abandonment to Divine Providence

The Lord sings a sweet song in Jean-Pierre de Caussade’s classic, “Abandonment to Divine Providence.” The path of peace is continual submission to God. “The only condition necessary for us is self-surrender to God in the present moment and then our soul becomes light as a feather, fluid as water, innocent as a child, and responds to every movement of grace like a floating balloon.”

Longing to Be Seen

Kristi shares how she spent some time looking at her life story working with some spiritual direction maps. It became extremely obvious to her, as she looked at her story throughout the first couple decades of her life that the longings behind many of the activities and accomplishments were fueled by a longing to be seen, to be heard, and to be known.
